We initially contacted Vaughan to check on our sump pump and its backup. Based on the first representative’s knowledge, we decided to ask for a quote for installation of a second outdoor watering faucet on opposite side of house. The quote was reasonable, and we accepted it online. They came when they said they would. They replaced the existing faucet and installed a the new one with the very convenient 90 degree turn on/off feature. They worked with us to position a winter shutoff and drain just where we wanted it and still out of the way so that the pipes did not interfere with existing shelves, etc. They use modern crimping pipe connection technology that totally avoids soldering (that could have possible future corrosion issues) and enables rapid assembly. When finished with the plumbing, they double checked the sump pump and verified that both the main and backup pump were in good working order. They were done very quickly, were very friendly and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend them.

George had performed a 5 star work in replacing my hot water heater. He was professional, polite, prompt and extremely knowledgeable. This is a more complicated job than the usual replacement because of the pipes and gas lines around the water heater tank, somehow George managed to do a superb work in installing it. Greg, the owner gave me a very fair price estimate. I knew I had ended my search for the right plumber , someone who will do the job for the right price, when I received his estimate. Had a unique installation needed to regulate the heat on my radiator. The owner took the time needed in advance to make sure that he could do the job and ask questions about the new device. He sent a crew that was creative and skilled to understand the project. Both the owner and the technicians had a deep understanding of radiators and heating and electrical devices. I had a leaking indirect water tank that was under warranty, but the original installer wanted a ridiculous amount to replace it so I called Greg. I used him in the past and had a great experience so called him again. He took care of dealing with the warranty and let me know when the new tank was available. When our tankless water heater died on Thanksgiving day I figured I wouldn’t get someone out to fix it until at least the following Monday. After leaving a message Greg texted me back Thanksgiving night and said he would have a technician out first thing In the morning. They arrived promptly, troubleshooted with the manufacturer and diagnosed the problem as needing to replace the heat exchanger…& confirmed the part was still under warranty. Sean provided a temporary solution to give us hot water until the new part arrived and they were installing it by Monday morning! I’ve used Vaughan Heating for a number of repairs and new installations at my home, including regular boiler cleaning, clogged kitchen drain, radiant heating water backup, and new water heater installation. They are responsive and attentive to detail. One a couple occasions, the issue came back up and they stopped by to fix it for no additional charge. I recommend them for heating and plumbing needs.
